RMG launches new betting service on bet365’s digital platforms


Racecourse Media Group (RMG) has launched a new betting tool that allows race-fans to view potential selections before placing a bet online.

The Going to Post innovation is available prior to every race from RMG’s 34 racetracks, including the likes of Epsom, Ascot, Newmarket, York, Newbury, Goodwood, Cheltenham and Aintree.

The service is currently available via launch partner bet365 and allows bettors with a minimum fund in their accounts to watch the horses from six minutes prior to the scheduled race time. The pictures could feature the horses parading, going down and at the start, and are accompanied by audio insight from the racecourse commentator.

One minute before the off, bet365 users will then be presented with an opportunity to place a bet in order to watch the race in full. If the user has already placed a qualifying bet the feed continues through to the end of the live race.

Nick Mills, RMG’s Commercial Director, said: “We are delighted to roll out this new streaming innovation which offers access to exclusive TV pictures prior to the off. This will hopefully aid the decision-making process when it comes to staking a bet. The early signs have been very encouraging, with many bet365 users choosing to use the service. The facility is available to all RMG bookmaker partners taking the Bet to View service and is also supported by the introduction of Mobile Archive.”
